AI Image Editor: How to Change One Thing and Keep the Rest
Kryme
Yamete's AI image editor changes a picture from a written instruction. You pick an image, say what should change (the outfit, the setting, the hair colour), and the edit model keeps the rest, with no mask to paint.
"Give her a white bikini." "Move the scene to a neon street." Each instruction like these costs a flat 1 energy, whatever you ask for.
Should you edit or regenerate?
| Your situation | Best move |
|---|---|
| The composition is wrong | Regenerate |
| You want another outfit or background | Edit |
| You want the same picture in another art style | Style conversion |
| The picture is right but soft | Upscale |
Change a word in a prompt and the whole image can shift. Editing suits the moment when the picture is nearly right and you want to keep the face, the pose or the light.
How to edit an image
- Choose the source. Start from an image you made on Yamete. You can add up to two more as references, for example a character and an outfit.
- Say what changes. Write one clear instruction.
- Compare and continue. Keep the version you prefer, edit it again, upscale it or turn it into a video.
Tips for instructions that work
- Ask for one change per instruction. It gives the most predictable results, and you can stack several edits one after another.
- Name what stays if it matters, such as "keep the same pose".
- Use references for specifics. A picture of the outfit gives the model details a sentence would miss. When you combine images, you choose which one sets the output size.
The other finishing tools
Style conversion redraws a picture in another style, with an optional high face restore. Upscaling sharpens a still with an ESRGAN model at a flat cost. Face restore runs during generation and repaints the face at higher detail.
You can reach the editor from Studio, or ask for the change in Yamete Chat. Edited images join your private collection.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to paint a mask?
No. You describe the change in words and the edit model works out where it applies.
How many images can I use at once?
Up to three: one source image and two more as references.
How much does an edit cost?
A flat 1 energy, whatever the instruction.
Can I edit a photo of a real person?
No. Yamete is for fictional adults, and real people are against our rules.
Quick checklist
- Is the picture nearly right? Edit it. If it is far off, regenerate.
- Write one instruction at a time.
- Add a reference when words fall short.
- Upscale last, once the image is final.
