Aegislash is a steel and ghost Pokemon that embodies a royal blade, said to have chosen kings in ancient times. It switches between a defensive stance, hidden behind its ornate shield, and an offensive one where the sword slides out to strike. Its golden hilt bears a single purple eye with a white pupil, and a long cloth-like arm wraps around the shield.
