astra militarum

The Astra Militarum, also called the Imperial Guard, is the vast human army of Warhammer 40K, ordinary soldiers thrown in endless numbers against the horrors of the galaxy. Its troops wear military uniform gear, flak armor, helmet and long coat variants depending on the regiment, carrying lasguns and banners. Art loves grim, muddy battlefield scenes full of tanks and trenches.
