censored

Used when part of an image is deliberately hidden from view, most often genitals, but sometimes gore or offensive symbols. In Japanese adult artwork this is usually done to satisfy local obscenity laws, which cover the penis, the vulva and toys like a dildo, and only occasionally the nipples. Typical methods include mosaic censoring, black bars, blurring and bright beams of light, though inverted colors or random objects also appear.
