Elster, designation LSTR-512, is the protagonist of SIGNALIS, a Replika android whose name means magpie in German. After her ship crashes on a frozen world, she searches a decaying labor facility for her missing partner amid cosmic horror and fractured memories. She has short brown hair, pale skin and blue eyes, and wears a utilitarian military uniform with technical markings.
