Helena is the ship girl version of the American light cruiser USS Helena in Kantai Collection, a confident officer who carries herself with a proud naval spirit. She has long hair in brown hair with blunt bangs and green eyes, and wears a dark military uniform with a star spangled neck ribbon, a fitted corset, a slit skirt and striped grey thighhighs. Her rigging is drawn as heavy gun turrets at her sides.
