itoshiki nozomu

Nozomu Itoshiki is the gloomy lead of Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, a man so pessimistic that his written name spells out despair. He spends his days complaining about society and despairing loudly, which drives the series' biting satire. He dresses in a traditional hakama and kimono in the style of an old fashioned scholar, with short hair in black and round glasses.
