The Mishaguji are the snake like gods of old folklore that serve Moriya Suwako in Touhou, ancient curse gods she once commanded as ruler of the land. In the series they appear as fearsome white serpents she summons in battle, a reminder of her darker, older power. They are drawn as pale snakes with red eyes, often coiling around Suwako or in looming no humans scenes.
