Growlithe is the loyal Fire type puppy Pokémon that later evolves into Arcanine, known for guarding its trainer with brave, barking devotion. It is a four legged canine with orange fur marked by black tiger stripes, a fluffy cream tuft on its head, chest and tail, and round dark eyes. Artists love drawing it wagging, curled up asleep or proudly standing watch. A rockier Hisuian variant exists as well.
