howl (howl no ugoku shiro)

Howl is the vain, charming wizard whose walking castle gives the Studio Ghibli film Howl no Ugoku Shiro its title. Flamboyant and evasive at first, he slowly reveals a gentle, protective side. He is usually drawn as a slender man with blonde hair or black hair in a loose cut, blue eyes, earrings and a flowing pink and pale blue jacket draped over a white shirt. Feathered transformations appear when his magic takes over.
