quilava

Quilava is the middle stage of the Johto fire starter line, between Cyndaquil and Typhlosion, and a featured partner in Pokemon Legends: Arceus. Energetic and a little hot tempered, it flares its flames when excited. It has a slender cream and dark blue body, red eyes and bursts of fire blazing from its head and rump, which it can switch on and off. Fan art shows it as a lively no humans creature.
