Torkoal is a Fire type Pokemon that looks like a sturdy tortoise living inside a lump of coal. It has an orange red body, squinting closed eyes and a heavy black shell pierced with glowing holes. It puffs smoke from its shell and nostrils, and art often shows it grumpy but cuddly, surrounded by soot and haze.
