XP-tan is the OS-tan personification of the Windows XP Professional operating system, a fan mascot born from internet jokes about the system's appetite for memory and its rough patches. She is commonly shown with black hair worn in long twintails, a cheerful expression and a blue, green and white color scheme echoing the classic interface, sometimes with ribbons and a Windows logo hair ornament.
