Sabotender, the Cactuar in English, is a recurring Final Fantasy creature based on haniwa figurines, famous for its 1000 Needles attack and its habit of running away. It is a running cactus with a bent, comic pose, round dot eyes and an open mouth, usually green and shown with no humans.
